Hands-on support
when movement matters
When something hurts, movement changes.

The Practice Room exists to support bodies through those moments with skilled, collaborative, hands-on work with the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
With over 25 years’ experience in massage therapy, my work is informed by long-term clinical practice.
Sessions are tailored to the person in front of me — whether the goal is restoring movement after injury, managing persistent pain, or simply allowing the body to settle and recover.
This is not about forcing tissues to comply.
It’s about listening, responding, and supporting change that the body can sustain.
How I work
My work draws on two complementary approaches, used deliberately and for different purposes.
I use massage therapy to support recovery from acute soft tissue injury, pain, and physical overload — helping reduce symptoms, restore circulation, and support tissue healing.
For more persistent or chronic issues, I use gentle fascial work, informed by the principles of the Lyno Method®.
This work involves light touch, guided breathing, anchored attention and small active movements to support changes in how the body organises and moves, particularly where restriction has been maintained over time.
Both approaches are applied with care and adapted to what the body can tolerate on the day. The intention is not to force change, but to support the body in reorganising itself in ways it can sustain.
Much of this work focuses on the body’s connective system — fascia — which plays a central role in how we move, adapt to load, and experience pain. When this system becomes restricted through injury, overload, stress, or trauma, movement patterns often change and symptoms can persist. Supporting the body to reorganise this network can allow movement to return with greater ease and less effort.
If you’d like to understand more about fascia and why it matters, you can read more here: What the Fascia?!

Who this work is for
I work with people across a wide range of contexts, including:
- Active individuals and athletes at all levels
- Pregnancy, where care and nervous system sensitivity are essential
- Children and adolescents navigating physical development
- Anyone seeking relief, recovery, or a quieter relationship with their body
Sessions are always adapted to what your body can tolerate on the day.
