1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or purchasing any product or service from Optimal Function, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this website.

2. Services Provided

Optimal Function provides two main categories of services:

  • Online Coaching Products
    Digital menopause wellness and fitness content delivered via video, PDFs, and online platforms. These products are self-guided and priced in USD.
  • Face-to-Face Myofascial Practice
    In-person sessions based in Mauritius. Services are billed in MUR.

All services are provided for informational, educational and wellness support purposes. They are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to purchase or participate in any online coaching program or digital product.
  • In-person myofascial therapy is available to clients of any age. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or have written consent for treatment.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Online Products: Prices are listed in USD. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase via accepted online payment methods (e.g., credit card, PayPal, EFT, Juice).
  • In-Person Sessions: Fees are charged in Mauritian Rupees (MUR). Payment can be made in cash, via bank transfer or Juice.

All prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

5. Appointments, Rescheduling and Cancellation (In-Person Practice)

  • Appointments may be scheduled via email, WhatsApp or telephonically.
  • Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • Missed appointments without notice may be billed in full.

6. Refund Policy

  • Digital Products: Due to the nature of digital content, no refunds are issued once access has been granted or materials have been downloaded.
  • In-Person Sessions: Refunds or credits for cancellations or dissatisfaction are handled on a case-by-case basis. No-shows are not eligible for refund.

7. Use of Materials and Intellectual Property

All digital products, course materials, videos and written content remain the intellectual property of Vivienne van Zyl. You may not copy, share or distribute any content without prior written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of this site is governed by the Privacy Policy, which outlines how your personal data is collected, stored and processed, in compliance with applicable laws, including Mauritius’s Data Protection Act and relevant international privacy frameworks.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Mauritian courts.

12. Amendments

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site or services after such updates constitutes acceptance.
